Biography

Dr. Hessa Alotaibi is a Consultant Neurologist at King’s College Hospital in Jeddah, bringing over 24 years of extensive experience in neurology. She is renowned for her expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological conditions. Dr. Hessa earned her medical degree from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah and holds board certifications in both Internal Medicine and Neurology from the Saudi Board.

Her distinguished career includes serving as the Head of the Neurology Department at King Fahd Hospital for many years. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Hessa has played a pivotal role in advancing the field of neurology, acting as the Program Director and Regional Chairperson for the Saudi Neurology Board in the Western Region. She is also an active member of the Scientific Councils within the Saudi Neurology Board.

Dr. Hessa’s clinical interests encompass multiple sclerosis, acute and chronic stroke, parkinsonism, epilepsy, migraine, and dementia, with a particular focus on multiple sclerosis. She has extensive experience in treating MS patients and has contributed to several research initiatives aimed at improving diagnosis and management.
